Resiliency and Cyber Security in Business Context
Cyber Security, Business Continuity and Privacy issues are often looked as ICT or technical risk-matters within companies. Several front-running companies consider privacy, business continuity and product safety matters to be in responsibility domain instead of handling issues as pure compliance matters. In reality, serious incidents have significant implications to brand, production, profitability, customer confidence and in extreme cases, to existence of entire business. In addition to considering individual companies, businesses, the workshop emphasizes the role of modern value networks within business.
Workshop covers a brief introduction to Cyber and Privacy risk management and interactive role play based business simulation. Participants are engaged take different critical roles within the company and to think holistically business impacts and opportunities arising from cases.
Chief Security Officer and Vice President of Elisa Plc
Jaakko Wallenius is Chief Security Officer and Vice President of Elisa Plc, the largest Finnish telecoms operator. He has a long experience in cyber security, contingency planning, crisis, management and communication, and crisis exercises in national and corporate level. Prior to current position he has served in several leadership roles in sales, business development in service development within Elisa Corporation. He holds a MSc degree in Telecommunications and Software systems from Aalto university (FI) and a MBA degree from Henley Business School (UK).
