Dr. Sascha Spoun

President of the Leuphana University Lüneburg

Sascha Spoun (49) has been President of the Leuphana University since 2006 and is a  visiting professor of „university management“ at the St. Gallen University. He studied business sciences (lic.oec. HSG, diplômé HEC Paris) and political sciences (dipl.sc.pol.) in Ann Arbor (University of Michigan Business School), München, Paris (Sciences Po, HEC) and St. Gallen, where he had been representative of the constituted student body.

Besides his work at St. Gallen, he served as lecturer at the University of Zürich. His research papers focus on issues such as public management, as well as goals, contents, methods and results of the higher education’s development. From 1999 untill 2006, Sasha Spoun was responsible for the project „new teaching conceptin“ at St. Gallen University. Mr. Spoun also publishes course books.
